I have loved taking pictures since I got my first camera (a neon green, flat, 110 film, ninja turtle camera that would make an outline of Michealangelo appear in the bottom right hand corner of every picture). I have gone through quite a few film cameras since then (many of them SLR's that were older than me) and recently bought a digital SLR. While digital might be easier to deal with, more convenient for jobs and a lot less costly in the long run (no film to buy, no using up expensive paper making test strips trying to get a perfect print), I still love playing in a darkroom more than anything. Eventually I hope to set one up in my home.

When not doing events or portraits, my favorite things to photograph are candid shots of people, random things that I find interesting while walking around, and things in nature. I love taking people's pictures when they don't know a camera is being pointed at them, whether it be people at a wedding or some other event, or just family and friends. I like catching people moving around and catching their expressions as well as the quick poses they'll strike when they realize there is a camera pointed in their general direction. I like when pictures tell a story. I love people who are willing to try different things for a photograph.

I have recently upgraded from my Canon 20d and am now shooting with a Canon 5d. I love it!!! Eventually I will get around to scanning my large assortment of negatives. But until then, any comments or feedback on the site would be greatly appreciated.
